Today is the last day of WTO conference. All parties pay attention on the term of trading agricultural products, especially the poor countries.
Hong Kong is an international city with tolerance of political and cultural dissent. These days, HK Police has been faced a critical challenge. Many protestors from different countries arrived at HK to show their furies on WTO starting from 13rd to 18th. They expressed their rage, dissatisfied on WTO by creative, violent (sometime) methods, as US and Europe exploits the developing countries’ right, their living, even their life.
This time, we focused on Korean Framers. They’re organized, discipline and creative. First day, they jumped to the sea, attacked police, robbed the police’s shields….. After demonstration, they returned the shields with anti-WTO stickers to the police and picked up the rubbish, then they shook hand with Police and said “See you tomorrow!!” Very impressive!!!!!
The following days, they used soft methods to demonstrate, like “3 steps 1 prostration” to show their love to the earth, treat the earth as their life; share their Korean food to HK people in TST, Central. They won this game. Many HK people touched by their actions, HK people donated, supported and joined with them.
Until yesterday, the Korean attacked the police extensively, then police used tear bombs to terminate their actions. 33 Korean were sent to hospital while 23 HK people were sent, including 5 polices. And HK police arrested 900 protestors.
