A long deliberation

I am sorry that I haven't posted my news for a long time.

During a month, I have struggled about my job and personal goal. Until yesterday, I submitted my termination letter to my company. It was difficult to make this decision. To be frank, this job provides me a lot of opportunities to develop, travel, and widen my horizons. But I foresaw that I will get lost in this company.

My manager has been working here for 7 years. He knows everything in this business, can do everything without guidance, works very hard till mid-night, and has extremely strong in hard skills. I totally agreed that he is a excellent executive. Therefore, you can notice my bosses provided him a good training and good remuneration so as to strengthen his loyalty for the company.

I am green in this company, obviously I should be trained by my manager and under his supervision. Then the problems emerged.

During four months working, I found that my manager spent almost all the time on working. I dared to say the time for our conversation (mouth to mouth) is less than 20 hours during 4 months, including all the time in offices, in dormitories, on the public transport. We know each others just a little bit, like a stranger still. I have tried to initiate a conversation, rejection had been come up. He didn't know how to pass the jobs to his subordinates, maybe my ability is not strong enough to handle yet.

The most important is my bosses agreed the above points during our review. Nothing I can say, employing me as his assignments is a part of my job. I started to wonder what a training is provided, wonder what I will be after 7 years, wonder why my bosses cannot train him up as a manager, not the so-called one. I afraid that my soft skills will be lost. There is still a long story to elaborate. Off course, being positive and affirmative are always the best attitude.

After the review, my bosses enhanced the confidence of my findings and my believe. I will be free after a month and start to seek jobs again.
